Telent is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join the Network Services division. This role involves working with new technologies, supporting on-premises and Azure cloud environments, and requires UK Security Clearance due to government client involvement.

The Senior Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain technical relationships with customers, provide proactive service delivery, and serve as a bridge between engineering and service teams. The role also involves supporting professional services and sales, particularly as a cloud evangelist.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical requirements for customer accounts
• Mentor and coach internal staff
• Train clients and staff on on-prem and Azure solutions
• Monitor and report on incident trends
• Highlight security threats and technical updates
• Maintain comprehensive documentation
• Support Proof of Concept, Type Approval, and testing activities
• Produce high-level and low-level design documents
• Participate in customer meetings and project reviews
• Lead value-added projects and innovations
• Ensure accurate timesheet and expense reporting
• Adhere to GDPR and security policies
