Job summary

Border to Coast Pensions Partnership is seeking a Technology Risk Officer to oversee technology risk across the IT estate, ensuring information security, operational resilience and outsourcing compliance. You will coordinate audits, report risk to management, and work with outsourced providers to maintain robust controls.

The role requires strong risk, governance and assurance experience within a regulated, complex environment and a proactive approach to cyber and data protection.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of technology and infrastructure risk including information security, cloud, third party and resilience.
• Working knowledge of FCA, ISO27001 and outsourcing/operational resilience expectations.
• Clear grasp of the three lines of defence model and across first and second line oversight.
• Experience in technology risk, ICT governance, audit or assurance in complex environments.
• Proven ability to produce risk reporting and management information for committees.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line technology risk oversight across IT infrastructure.
• Bridge to second line risk, compliance and assurance; document and report risks.
• Evidence adherence to information security, operational resilience and outsourcing requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits from design evidence to remediation tracking.
• Assess technology and infrastructure risk including third party, cloud and service resilience.
