Technology Graduate - IT Operations
London
Currys London Campus at Waterloo
Permanent
Full Time
Grade 2

Our passion at Currys is helping everyone enjoy the latest tech. And our Technology, Data and Transformation team is working at the forefront of change to constantly optimise the customer experience and drive our future success.

Our mission is tech transformation on a massive scale to support our omnichannel operation. And to help us achieve our goals, we’re looking for the brightest talent to join our Architecture, Engineering and Operations Graduate programme.

Role overview:

About the role

Our three-year programme allows you to specialise from day one and kick-start your career in a collaborative, supportive team. You’ll start out with three six-month rotations across SA/Engineering/Quality, Strategy/Enterprise Architecture and Ops, which will allow you to gain experience across a diverse range of areas including architectural frameworks, discrete analysis activities, tech strategy, infrastructure and InfoSec ops.

In your fourth six-month rotation, you’ll have an opportunity to try something new or explore an area you’re passionate about. Finally, in year three, you’ll do a deeper dive into that specialism and have the chance to work towards a Level 7 Apprenticeship.

Along the way you’ll develop a wealth of new skills, including:

  • Project and resource management
  • Problem solving

You’ll also have access to essential teaching resources and the support of a network of experienced colleagues to help you decide where you want to go next, whether that be developing your skills further in a role such as SA Support or Junior Tech Business Analyst, or building your experience as a Strategy Support and Service Delivery Manager.

About you

Driving everything you do with us will be a passion about our business, our customers and our technology. You’ll be shaping our future as much as your own.

You will need:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a Technology degree (i.e. Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Information Systems)
  • Demonstrable ability to conduct research using industry benchmarks/tools
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

About the benefits

We know our people are the magic ingredient in our success. That’s why we reward you with benefits that go deeper than just the day-to-day. Benefits that work for you, your lifestyle and your career. They include:

  • Product discounts on the latest tech
  • 6 weeks of annual leave (inclusive of bank holiday entitlement)
  • A range of wellbeing initiatives

Join our team and we’ll be with you every step of the way. You’ll have the chance to get stuck into a bit of everything, to refine your skills and to develop the career you want in a fast-paced ambitious environment.

As the biggest recycler and repairer of tech in the UK, we’re leading the industry in progressive ways and we need your fresh perspectives and bold ideas to help us make a positive impact on people and the planet.

Every voice has a space at our table and we’re committed to making inclusion and diversity part of everything we do. If you need any additional assistance with your application please email careers@currys.co.uk and we’ll do our best to help.
