Associate Editor in Chinese Competition Law (Remote), London (City of London)

About the position

The Associate Editor in Chinese Competition Law (Remote) prepares and edits legal articles on Chinese competition law cases. This role offers the opportunity to work with the Concurrences publications team on significant cases in Chinese competition law. Responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing, editing, and publishing legal articles by experts from mainland China, including regulators, courts, lawyers, economists, and academics.
  • Collaborating with teams to promote publications and events via mailing campaigns and social media.
  • Contributing to special publication projects as needed.
  • Participating in internal initiatives like team lunches, news meetings, social media strategies, book clubs, and volunteering.

Candidate Profile & Skills

  • Master's degree in Law or Economics, with knowledge of competition law/antitrust preferred.
  • Experience in publishing, law, economics, or regulation is a plus but not required.
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (native or bilingual proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
  • Fluent in English (native or bilingual proficiency).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Comfortable working with diverse cultures and in a team or independently.
  • Attention to detail, rigor, and precision.
