Community Integrated Care is seeking a TEC Configuration Team Leader to turn person-centred assessments into practical Technology Enabled Care (TEC) solutions. You’ll lead configuring and testing IoT devices, managing TEC assets, and developing support protocols that improve independence and safety for the people we support.
You’ll work from our Widnes Head Office with occasional home-working, and you’ll collaborate across teams to ensure technology delivers real-world outcomes while maintaining
The opportunity and what makes Community Integrated Care a great place to work
Use technology to change lives.
Imagine using your technical expertise not simply to keep systems running, but to help someone live more independently, feel safer in their own home and have greater choice and control over their life.
As our TEC Configuration Team Leader, you’ll lead the team responsible for turning person-centred assessments into practical, innovative Technology Enabled Care (TEC) solutions.
From configuring and testing IoT devices to exploring new technologies, managing TEC assets and developing effective support protocols, you’ll sit at the point where technology meets genuinely life-changing support.
If you’re technically confident, naturally curious and passionate about finding solutions to real-world problems, this could be an incredibly rewarding next step.
This is a full time permanent office based role from our Head Office in Widnes with occasional opportunity to work from home so our ideal candidate will be based within an hours commute of Widnes.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Working closely with our Head of TEC, assessment colleagues, operational teams, technology providers and other stakeholders, you’ll lead the configuration and continual development of our TEC solutions.
This role needs someone who can understand the technology while never losing sight of the person using it.
You’ll work with people we support, families, carers, operational teams and health professionals, so you’ll need to be able to take technical information and explain it in a clear, straightforward and jargon-free way.
You’ll be comfortable questioning how things have always been done, looking for better solutions and encouraging others to embrace change.
Just as importantly, you’ll understand that when technology forms part of someone’s support, reliability, safety and quality really matter.
Experience within health or social care and configuring enterprise-wide systems would be advantageous.
Technical capability is important, but your approach will matter just as much.
We’re looking for someone who is curious about emerging technology and excited by what it can make possible.
Someone who can lead and coach others, collaborate with people from very different backgrounds and keep asking:
\"How can we make this work better for the person we support?\"
You’ll challenge accepted ways of working when there’s an opportunity to do something better, while always putting safety, quality and the needs of the individual first.
Technology Enabled Care has the potential to fundamentally change how support is delivered.
Done well, technology shouldn't take away the human element of care. It should help create greater independence, choice and control, while enabling colleagues to provide truly person-centred support.
As TEC Configuration Team Leader, you'll have the opportunity to combine your technical expertise, leadership skills and creativity to help make that happen.
If you want your next technology role to deliver more than systems and solutions, and you want to see the difference your work can make to people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
