Job summary

GlobalData UK Ltd is seeking a Consulting Director - Technology to lead client engagements from London. You will sell and deliver projects, build deep client relationships and oversee multi‑project delivery within budget and schedule.

The role focuses on strategic development, team leadership and thought leadership in the technology sector, with opportunities to shape a broad consulting agenda and expand our Sales Intelligence offerings for key clients.

Qualifications

• Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and communicate solutions to clients' business issues.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Software, Technology and Telco sectors.
• Financial Acumen: Proven track record of achieving and surpassing financial targets is a plus.
• Management Experience: Extensive project management experience and leading small teams.
• Client Management: Experience working with internal/external clients and presenting to Senior Management.
• Technical Skills: Market sizing, competitive analysis, benchmarking, primary research, storytelling.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Sell and Deliver: Sell and deliver projects with the consulting team to meet targets.
• Client Relationship Management: Build ongoing relationships with key clients and present insights.
• Project Management: Lead multiple consulting assignments ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Strategic Development: Help develop long-term consulting strategy aligned with company goals.
• Team Management: Mentor and develop team members and foster high performance.
• Thought Leadership: Create white papers and presentations to position GlobalData as a leader in technology.
