About the role (External):
Our Technicians serve as the vital link between the Team Leader and Operatives.
Specializing in Track Maintenance, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing the track network (also known as the Permanent Way or P-Way) to ensure safety and efficiency. This involves manual work with rails, sleepers, ballast, drainage, and structures supporting the trains.
Work conditions include outdoor environments in all weather, often involving transporting equipment across challenging terrain. Safety, adherence to rules, and teamwork are essential, especially working near moving trains at high speeds.
