Job summary

Fish Brothers (Swindon) Limited is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join the Toyota team in Swindon. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to Toyota standards, using modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer procedures.

You’ll work in a supportive workshop environment with opportunities for manufacturer training and career development, and you will be part of a team dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair is required.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a dealership, independent garage or similar environment.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, team-focused approach.
• Pride in the quality of your work.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to Toyota manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and investigate vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete warranty repairs and associated paperwork accurately.
• Carry out vehicle health checks and report findings clearly.
• Work efficiently to meet workshop requirements while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Support colleagues across the workshop to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer and company procedures.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will:

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair, or an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership, independent garage or similar environment
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A positive, team-focused approach
• Pride in the quality of your work
• A full UK driving licence

Previous Toyota experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. If you’re an experienced Technician from another manufacturer or an independent workshop and you’re looking for the opportunity to develop your career with Toyota, we’d be very happy to hear from you.
