Job summary

Stoneacre Motor Group is recruiting a Motor Vehicle Technician for their Toyota workshop in the UK. The role covers servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of Toyota vehicles, with ownership of each job and accurate documentation.

You should have Level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sector in a technical role is required.
• Formal EV knowledge or qualification is advantageous.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and diagnose Toyota vehicles to high standards.
• Complete service paperwork to manufacturer standards and provide diagnostic reports.
• Record and manage service documentation including PDIs and job sheets.

Responsibilities

Utilising your expanding knowledge of Toyota vehicles and features, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of our customers' vehicles to an exemplary standard within our state of the art workshop. You will be carrying out work on a diverse range of Toyota vehicles, whilst taking great pride in your work and taking complete ownership of your customers, and completing your jobs to the highest standard. Working as part of a capable and motivated team, you will complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards. You will accurately and skilfully complete and provide diagnostic reports on our customers' vehicles. In accordance with manufacturer, warranty and dealer requirements, you will complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs and service reports. Upon the completion of jobs, through the use of diagnostic equipment and road testing, you will check the level and quality of work that has been carried out.

Requirements

• We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the automotive sector within a technical role.
• As a minimum, you will be qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
• You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
• An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential.
• MOT Licence would also be beneficial but not essential.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
