Job summary

St Bart’s in Newbury is inviting applications for a part-time Technician: Science to join our Science Faculty from 28 September on a permanent basis.

You will support teaching staff across the Science Faculty, deliver practical support, and assist with equipment and room preparation. This role includes DBS checks, and full training will be provided while working term-time with 30 hours per week.

Job description

We are looking for a part-time Technician: Science to join us on 28 September on a permanent basis.

If you are keen to support the work of teaching staff in the Science Faculty in order to raise student achievement, we would love to hear from you. Full training will be provided.

HOURS: 30 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday, 11.00pm to 4.00pm and Thursday and Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm) term-time only, plus 5 training days pro rata.

SALARY: £25185.00 - £26824.00 gross pa (£13.05 - £13.90 per hour) pay review pending, pro rata for term-time. Starting salary equates to £17505.44 gross pa.

Road links are good as we are close to the A34 and M4, as well as excellent public transport and within walking distance of Newbury train station.
