Overview

Mowi Consumer Products UK is a fast-paced and exciting organisation with a genuinely unique offering in the UK – and we currently have an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our engineering team. Mowi continues to make a considerable investment in our UK processing facility in Rosyth (near Edinburgh) and, as a new site, we are constantly developing and growing. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic multi-skilled engineer with a ‘can do’ attitude to help embed a high-performance culture and develop their career along with our business.

Responsibilities

• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
• Responding to breakdowns and system defects, ensuring safety is always prioritised.
• Identifying performance issues, carrying out diagnostics, servicing and maintaining equipment, machinery and systems.
• Monitoring and assessing all external contract workers working on repairs.
• Compiling end of shift reports, time usage reports and defect reports.
• Identifying and recommending improvements to machine reliability and efficiency.
• Maintaining company regulation, safety, hygiene and quality procedures.
• Contributing towards departmental continuous improvement through observation, process development and practical assistance.
