Job summary

Group 1 Automotive in Stockport is seeking an MOT Tester to carry out MOT testing and related repair work to exceptional standards within a busy service department.

You’ll work with the Service Reception and Workshop Control to discuss test results, maintain best-in-class quality checks, and stay current with vehicle knowledge. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Experience as MOT Tester.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Ability to be flexible and work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out MOT service and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
• Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control on test results and any additional work required.
• Ensure quality inspection controls are carried out.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Maintaining exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and referrals.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and orderly administration of work.
