Job description

Jemca is currently offering a fantastic opportunity as a Vehicle Technician to join our business based at our Lexus Sidcup dealership. This role is suitable for individuals interested in developing their technical knowledge and improving labor productivity.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will service and repair vehicles with a focus on customer satisfaction. You will work within a team to diagnose faults and address customer issues. This position is ideal for a main dealer-qualified Technician aiming to increase their OTE and expand their knowledge of Hybrid technology.

What we need

  1. Deliver complete customer satisfaction.
  2. Work as part of the workshop team to carry out scheduled vehicle service and repair work, adhering to manufacturer standards.
  3. Examine vehicles and diagnose non-routine defects, either in the workshop or during road tests, using your vehicle knowledge.
  4. Report defects according to MOT and Vehicle Safety Report standards.
  5. Follow workshop and dealership Health & Safety protocols.
  6. Maintain workshop cleanliness and tidiness.
  7. Take responsibility for daily maintenance of workshop equipment and report any issues.
  8. Attend all relevant training sessions, including product knowledge.
  9. Achieve and maintain appropriate Technician Certification levels.
  10. Work efficiently to meet productivity and efficacy targets.

Your Skills

  1. Relevant experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  2. Experience working within a Main Dealer environment.
  3. Possession of a valid MOT Licence is preferred but not essential.
  4. A clean, current driving licence.
  5. Ability to interact well with customers and provide excellent service.
  6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  7. Understanding of computer systems, including email, online training, and manufacturer technical systems.
  8. Ability to complete work accurately and on time, first time.
