Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Technician to join the Environmental Chemistry team. In a production-driven laboratory, you will lead by example, perform sample extraction and benchwork, and help maintain UKAS quality systems.

You will support team leadership, prioritise workloads, train other members of the team, and ensure safety and compliance while contributing to our mission of safer, more sustainable testing and services.

SOCOTEC’s Environmental Science team delivers independent, UKAS accredited environmental testing and scientific analysis that supports safer, more sustainable decisions across sectors including construction, infrastructure, energy, marine and manufacturing. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Technician to join our Environmental Chemistry team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to lead by example in a production-driven laboratory. A strong understanding of UKAS quality systems and Organic extraction procedures is essential to thrive in this position.
