Hugh Baird College in Liverpool is seeking a Construction Technician to support staff and students in our Professional Construction & Trades department. You will operate and demonstrate workshop equipment, supervise processes, and maintain resources to ensure a high-quality learning environment.

This permanent, full-time role focuses on health and safety, practical task delivery, and providing hands-on technical assistance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a relevant Level 2 vocational qualification.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety in workshop settings.
• Experience with construction equipment in an educational or training environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsabilités

Role

Hugh Baird College have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Technician to join our professional construction and trades department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of construction professionals by supporting both staff and students in a hands‑on learning environment.

You will provide technical support to staff and students, supervise and demonstrate processes and equipment use, and issue and maintain equipment and resources within our departments.
