Hugh Baird College invites applications for a Construction Technician to support staff and students in a hands-on learning environment at the Port Academy Building, Liverpool. This full-time, permanent role contributes to shaping future construction professionals.

You will supervise equipment use, maintain tools and resources, promote health and safety, and assist in open evenings and promotional events. This is part of the Professional Construction & Trades department.

Formación

• A minimum of a relevant Level 2 vocational qualification.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety in workshop settings.
• Experience with construction equipment in an educational or training environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsabilidades

Role

Hugh Baird College have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Technician to join our professional construction and trades department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of construction professionals by supporting both staff and students in a hands-on learning environment.

You will provide technical support to staff and students, supervise and demonstrate processes and equipment use, and issue and maintain equipment and resources within our departments.
