Qualifications

How you’ll power our business as an Technician

Reporting into the lead technician within the installations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Flogas Britain LPG vessels at customers premises.

This role will also involve call out and repair work within working hours and out of hours standby cover which will involve some weekend / bank holiday work.

Initially the successful candidates will work alongside an experienced LPG engineer carrying out on the job training in-between training courses at a LPG training centre.

Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040.

We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases.

What we’ll need from you

Carry out routine maintenance work at Flogas customers premises

Carry out on site installations of LPG Vessels, pipework, and auxiliary equipment at customer sites

Conduct 10 year and enhanced 20-year testing on LPG tanks

Hold a current UK driving licence (light vehicle up to 3.5 tonne)

Ability to meet agreed deadlines and work overtime as required in order to do so

Self-motivated and resourceful to overcome problems as they arise
