Job summary

Pleckgate High School is seeking a General Technician to support lessons and pupils. The post covers 37 hours per week, term-time plus one additional week, working under Heads of Department to ensure equipment is ready and maintained.

You will manage resources, assist with budgets and ensure health and safety standards are met across practical lessons, while maintaining teaching aids and equipment.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
  • Confident communicator at all levels; strong written & verbal skills.
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
  • General technician experience.
  • Ability to self-manage, organise and prioritise tasks.
  • Qualification in H&S and fire prevention.
  • ICT applications and email experience.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Pleckgate High School is looking to recruit a General technician on 37 hours per week Term time plus 1 week contract.
