Job summary

Rhenus Logistics is seeking a delivery technician to install and position high-value medical devices, cable systems, and assemble on-site configurations. You will liaise with project teams and coordinate with third parties to ensure successful completions.

The role requires a flexible driver with a clean license, willingness to stay away from home, and ability to handle paperwork and demonstrate strong customer communication. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience of mechanical or electrical installations.
• Experienced driver with a clean licence.
• Very flexible with hours; prepared to stay away from home regularly.
• Prepared to work up to 2 weekends per month – overtime paid.
• Ability to complete required timesheets and paperwork.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel programs.
• Experience dealing directly with customers; good communication skills.
• Good team member with a flexible can-do attitude who can also work on own initiative.
• Good general level of education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and position high-value medical devices on site.
• Run system cables and complete final connections.
• Install and align system covers.
• Coordinate with project coordinators on job preparation.
• Work with client project teams on site to ensure smooth project completion.
• Coordinate with third parties on site (e.g. crane lifting).
• General driving/delivery duties within the UK and Europe.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Delivery, offloading and positioning as required.
• Manual handling and lifting of customer equipment.
• Use of specialist handling equipment to ensure safe delivery.
• Complete delivery paperwork and timesheets.
• Assist with Tech Centre duties as workload demands.
• Prepare demo equipment – C Arms, incubators.
• Undertaking Break Fix & Service and Maintenance jobs – nonmedical.
• Other tasks as required.

What You Can Expect
