Job summary

Arup's Digital Technology group seeks a Technical Writer to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-centered content for our digital products and services. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, researchers and engineers to produce guides, help, release notes and interface copy that improve adoption and usability.

You will own documentation across one or more products, champion accessibility and content standards, and contribute to discovery, design and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience translating complex technical information into user-friendly content.
• Experience collaborating with designers, researchers and engineers.
• Ability to produce user guides, release notes and interface content.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain documentation for one or more digital products.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise and user-centred content.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, researchers and SMEs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Advise product teams on content requirements and improvements for UX.
• Create and maintain user guides, online help, release notes and knowledge resources.
• Champion documentation standards and accessibility.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation tools and processes, including AI.
