Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Technical Writer for LogScale to own a critical documentation area and shape how customers and internal teams interact with one of the most powerful data platforms in cybersecurity. You will translate complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable content, delivering documentation end-to-end with a focus on scale and automation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing product documentation for software products, with a strong user-centered focus.
• Proficiency with structured authoring technologies, including DocBook, DITA, and XSLT.
• Strong working knowledge of API documentation, particularly GraphQL and REST.
• Experience with source control (Git or Mercurial), including branching, merging, and version control in command-line environments (Bash or Zsh).
• Familiarity with SaaS deployments, especially at large scale or in highly automated environments.
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to work independently while proactively identifying and executing improvements.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own your domain. Take full responsibility for a defined area of documentation, including content strategy, priorities, and quality.
• Write for real users. Develop and maintain documentation (hosted at library.humio.com) with a user-centered approach.
• Structure and optimize content. Apply structured authoring principles within our information architecture to maximize content reuse and consistency across channels.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers to reflect how the product works for customers.
• Grow continuously. Immerse yourself in industry-standard tools, processes, and an SDLC environment that sharpen your technical and writing skills.
