We currently have 2 exciting opportunities within Nationwide Platforms as a Technical Trainer. As Technical Trainer you will be working with the External Training team, covering the South area.
As a Technical Trainer you will be responsible for technical skills development covering Nationwide Platforms fleet, specifically MEWP's, Truck and Van Mounted equipment, Tracked Booms and BlueSky products for engineers in the UK and occasionally internationally.
Frequent travel is involved (approximately three days each week) and dependent on home location may include overnight stays. The engineering side of the business is highly reactive, so a flexible, adaptable, resilient character is essential for this role.

As part of this job role the company will provide training and qualification to Level 3 Education and Training (PTLLS), so there is a requirement for the role holder to complete all necessary development activities, formal and informal and to play a highly active role in attaining the qualification. This will form part of your career journey and upon successful qualification as an IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) Instructor, the seniority level for the role will be moved from Band 3 to Band 4. This role has strong development opportunities including apprenticeships in teaching or learning and development and other areas.
