Job Description:

Areti Group is seeking x6 Tech leads/Staff Engineers to work for a rapidly growing TECH FOR GOOD business. My client is building a new team and needs experienced software engineers to develop large-scale mobile and web applications backend. The role focuses on backend coding and database design, emphasizing system performance and reliability.

This is an excellent opportunity for software engineers seeking a company with strong values that cares about its customers and employees.

Key Accountabilities:

• Participate in the entire development process, from design to deployment and support
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine application design
• Propose and implement innovative technical solutions
• Optimize backend code, identify bottlenecks, and implement visualization and monitoring tools

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Computer Science or related degree preferred
• Experience as a Software Team Lead or Staff Engineer; Lead Engineer considered
• Experience with Service-oriented architecture
• Knowledge of backend optimization using MySQL or similar
• Proficiency in relational databases and SQL, especially MySQL
• Strong PHP skills, understanding its strengths and weaknesses
• Experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony and Laravel

Languages:

PHP, Ruby-on-Rails, Java, Python, C#

Frameworks & Tools:

Vue.js, TypeScript, Angular, React, AWS, GraphQL, REST APIs, TDD, DDD, Agile (Scrum, Kanban)

This urgent role offers a salary of £75,000 - £100,000, depending on experience, plus benefits including 28 days holidays + Bank Holidays, gym, company laptop, and fully remote working.
