Barron McCann Ltd is seeking a technically minded Technical Support Engineer to join our Technical Services team in Derby. You will support maintenance activities, assist project delivery, and work directly with customers to ensure outstanding service nationwide.

You’ll create and maintain technical documentation, train engineers, manage software images and build configurations, and escalate complex issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical support or IT services.
• Ability to train engineers and onboard staff.
• Experience visiting customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software support to engineers and customers.
• Manage and escalate technical support tickets.
• Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation.
• Manage customer software images and build configurations.
• Deliver training and onboarding for engineering teams.
• Support customer projects and technical escalations.
• Attend customer sites to validate processes and provide technical expertise.
