Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is recruiting a Technical Support Engineer for a leading European automation company based in Milton Keynes. You will be the technical expert for PLC integration, fault finding and testing across Europe, supporting customers and colleagues with diagnostics.

This unique role offers a Monday–Friday day pattern, 25 days holiday, private medical insurance and ongoing technical training to develop your career in industrial automation.

Qualifications

HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
Candidates with approximately 1 year's industry experience are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of PLC programming, Ladder Logic or Structured Text.
Knowledge of industrial networks and fieldbus technologies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to teams across Europe.
Support customers with PLC integration into control systems.
Diagnose product, electrical and communication faults.
Set up, program and test PLC-based automation systems.
Work with industrial networks and fieldbus technologies.
