Job summary

TAHLIA WATERS HR CONSULTING LLP is seeking a technically skilled support professional to investigate and resolve electronics/system issues for customers, partners, and internal teams. You'll troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems, communicate clear guides, and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

The role involves providing practical resolutions, documenting steps, and escalating complex cases to engineering with precise context. Some travel to APAC may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electronics design is a key requirement.
• Diploma in Electronics Engineering is required.
• Electronics Engineering fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
• Must be comfortable reading schematic drawings and interpreting PCB layouts.
• Experience with wireless RF design concepts is advantageous but training will be provided.
• Familiarity with basic software to aid interpretation of technical specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software problems are required.
• You must be an effective communicator.
• Experience in technical support or similar customer-facing roles would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot software, hardware, connectivity, configuration, and integration issues.
• Provide clear guidance, workarounds, and resolutions while keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
• Escalate complex or product-related issues to engineering, product, or senior support teams with accurate technical context.
• Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and internal notes.
• Identify recurring issues, customer pain points, and product improvement opportunities.
• Work with the team to ensure the incoming case queues are constantly maintained.
• Troubleshoot customer issue via telephone calls, e-mail and/or remote session. Occasionally attend customer sites in person.
• Some travel may be required in this role to other parts of the APAC region.

What Do You Need to Have?

• He/she must be comfortable reading schematic drawings, interpreting PCB layouts, data sheets and understanding simple mechanical drawings and step files. You will need to spot errors as they relate to the Company’s product installations in customer’s products.


• Experience with wireless RF design concepts and methods would be advantageous but it is not essential as training will be given.


• Familiarity with basic software would be useful to aid interpretation of technical specifications.


• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software related problems are required.


• You must be an effective communicator.


• Experience in technical support, helpdesk, service desk, field support, systems support, or a similar customer-facing technical role would be useful.
