Job summary

Entech Technical Solutions Ltd. in Cambridge is seeking an Application Engineer to join our specialist electronics team.

You will support customers, help them select, apply and troubleshoot high-performance electronic products, and work closely with Marketing, Applications and Engineering teams. You will engage with customers and distributor networks to understand requirements and propose the most suitable technology, while demonstrating products at events and contributing to business

Qualifications

• Experience working within electronics, manufacturing or engineering in a similar role.
• Understanding of electronic circuits, components and systems.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, datasheets and technical specifications.
• Practical experience of fault-finding and troubleshooting electronic hardware or systems.
• Experience in Applications Engineering/Field Applications/Technical Support would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, helping them select, apply and troubleshoot products.

We are looking for an Application Engineer to join a specialist electronics manufacturer in Cambridge, supporting customers and working closely with the Marketing, Applications and Engineering teams.

As an Application Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers, helping them select, apply and troubleshoot high-performance electronic products. You will work closely with customers and distributor networks to understand their requirements and recommend the most appropriate technology and products for their specific applications.

The role will combine technical engineering, customer support, product marketing and applications, with opportunities to demonstrate products, attend industry events and support business development activities.

Requirements:
