Carnival UK is recruiting a Technical Stores Manager to lead inventory and parts control across our engineering stores. You will drive stock planning, budgeting, and supplier negotiations in a complex environment.

You will manage a small team, maintain stock levels, coordinate with supply chain, and ensure timely deliveries for our ships and technical projects. Experience at sea is desirable but not essential; we value proactive leaders who can adapt to a changing fleet.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in logistics and/or inventory control within a large, complex environment.
  • Experience working with engineering/technical stores parts is advantageous.
  • Experience managing a small team and negotiating with suppliers.

To apply for the Technical Stores Manager role you will need:

  • A strong background in logistics and/or inventory management preferably within a large, complex environment;
  • Knowledge of working with engineering / technical stores parts would be advantageous;
  • Experience of managing a small team;
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of negotiating with external suppliers;
  • Knowledge of working with technical stores parts would be advantageous.

Experience at sea is desirable, but not essential. We believe in hiring people with the right attitudes and strengths over their competencies.

In addition to a strong logistics/inventory management background, you will have maintained appropriate stock levels and managed stock order planning and asset management. You will be comfortable liaising with supply chain regarding ordering parts and deliveries as well as senior management in order to manager your team effectively, whilst maintaining and monitoring your respective budgets.

You will be self-motivated and dependable, and always keen to take on more work whilst helping those around you. You will be a strong communicator, keen to ask questions and sharing knowledge, and able to easily adapt your style to suit the situation.
