P-Zero Research is seeking a technically skilled staff member to own projects end to end, focusing on measuring automated AI R&D capabilities and identifying risk vectors. You will iteratively run experiments, build infrastructure, and communicate results to stakeholders.

The role supports relocation to London or the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility for exceptional remote candidates and core-hour overlap. We value high agency, rigorous research taste, and precise engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and run large-scale experiments in AI R&D.
• Excellent strategic and research taste with strong prioritisation in weak feedback environments.
• High agency, conscientiousness, and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Conduct ambitious experiments to measure automated AI R&D capabilities.
• Identify new threat vectors from automated AI R&D and how to measure them.
• Run scrappy prototypes and rapidly iterate.
• Build robust, production-grade infrastructure.
• Update forecasters, policy makers and the AI safety community about RSI risks.
