Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Technical Specialist to join our dynamic Faculty Technical Operations team, which strives to provide sector-leading technical support for our students and staff. The purpose of this role is:

  1. Working alongside your team members to ensure that cleanroom operations are compliant and operate smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
  2. Champion a culture focused on collaboration and proactive health & safety.
  3. Provide high-level scientific and technical support to cleanroom users with the micro/nanofabrication of structures and devices incorporating graphene and other 2D materials.
  4. Proactively contribute to and assist in the development of new research projects, leading to high-quality outputs.
  5. In close collaboration with Faculty Estates, Infrastructure & Facilities, Operations, and H&S teams, ensure problems are resolved in a timely fashion.
