Cranswick Convenience Foods, Milton Keynes | Full-Time | Technical & QA Department

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Services Supervisor (Governance) to join our Technical & QA team at Cranswick Convenience Foods, Milton Keynes. This pivotal role will see you leading the governance side of our Technical Services function, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard and in line with customer and auditing expectations.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage out-of-specification nutritional results and meat assurance scheme licenses.
• Coordinate site export processes and maintain dynamic technical site risk assessments.
• Oversee closure of non-conformances and ensure robust complaint investigations.
• Develop strong relationships with labs, customers, and suppliers.
• Ensure document control of QMS documentation and manage purchase orders.
• Participate in internal/external audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead and support your team with regular 1-2-1s, appraisals, and training.
• Provide coverage for other Technical Services Supervisors and team members as needed.

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a Technical Services or food manufacturing environment.
• Excellent administrative and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of food legislation, safety, and quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and engage a high-performing team.
• Understanding of BRC standards and customer requirements.
