Hayley 24/7 Engineering in Dudley, West Midlands, is seeking an experienced Technical Support Manager to lead our pump repair workshop and field service operations. You will drive high-quality technical support while improving efficiency and profitability, acting as the bridge between customers, sales teams, and technicians.

The role requires hands-on engineering leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage repairs, quotations, and service delivery safely and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in pump repair or rotating equipment environments.
• Strong engineering principles in hydraulics and mechanics.
• Ability to interpret pump curves and system data.
• Leadership and customer-facing communication skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead pump repair workshop and field service teams daily.
• Oversee pump strip-downs, inspections, machining, and testing.
• Schedule jobs and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain quality control and approve repair scopes.
• Prepare quotations and tender submissions.
• Provide technical support to sales, including site surveys.
