Job summary

PSR Solutions is recruiting for a Technical Services Manager - Mechanical Bias to join a leading Tier 1 fit-out contractor in London and the South. The role reports to the Head of Services and offers exposure across project delivery, MEP management, pre-construction, tendering, client relationships and winning work.

The successful candidate will bring a strong Mechanical/MEP background, experience in large-scale fit-out projects, and a proactive, growth-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Technical Services Manager or Building Services Manager.
• Background in Tier 1 MEP subcontractor market.
• Experience moving from MEP contractor to main contractor is a plus.
• Strong Mechanical/MEP background with solid project exposure.
• Willingness to grow with a fast-growing business.

Technical Services Manager - Mechanical Bias
London & South / 80,000 to 85,000 + 10% Bonus + Car Allowance

I'm currently working with a well-established Tier 1 fit-out contractor who are looking to bring an experienced Technical Services Manager - Mechanical Bias into their team.

This is a business with some serious growth plans over the next 12-18 months, and they are looking for someone who wants to grow with them rather than simply take on another job.

You'll report directly into the Head of Services and will have the opportunity to get involved across project delivery, MEP management, pre-construction, tendering, client relationships and winning work.

The role will give you exposure to a lot more than just running the MEP package on a project, with the opportunity to develop your career as the business continues to grow.

The Projects

The business specialises in commercial fit-out sector, working on projects including airports, high-security environments and other technically demanding spaces across London and the South.

Projects range from around 2m to 45m in construction value, with a strong level of repeat business. They have built some very good client relationships, with clients regularly requesting the same teams and individuals to work on their projects.

Your Background

I'm interested in speaking with experienced Technical Services Managers / Building Services Managers, but equally, I'm keen to speak with people coming from the Tier 1 MEP subcontractor market.

If you're currently a Mechanical Project Manager delivering large-scale fit-out projects for an MEP contractor and have considered moving across to the main-contractor side, this could be a very good opportunity.

You don't need to have spent your whole career working for a main contractor. A strong Mechanical / MEP background, good project experience and, importantly, the right personality and attitude are key.

If there are areas such as pre-construction or tendering where you need further exposure, you'll be working closely with an experienced Head of Services who will support you as you develop.
