Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK in Yeovil is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead the delivery of hard services and engineering operations at a large, complex site. You will oversee up to 40 engineers and 6 supervisors, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant maintenance across planned and reactive activities, while driving continuous improvement and strong stakeholder partnerships.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or engineering background required.
• Facilities management experience preferred.
• Experience leading large engineering teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety and statutory maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of all technical and engineering services across site.
• Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programmes to ensure contractual SLAs and KPIs are achieved.
• Acting as the senior escalation point for technical and operational issues.
• Leading, developing and mentoring engineering and supervisory teams to drive performance and engagement.
• Managing subcontractors and specialist service providers to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality service delivery.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, statutory and regulatory requirements, including permits to work and safe systems of work.
• Working closely with asset management teams to maintain accurate asset information and support ISO 55001 asset management objectives.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers to ensure service delivery aligns with business needs.
