Qualifications

• Degree in a technical/engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in aviation maintenance and Part 145.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong regulatory compliance and safety systems understanding.
• Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Services team with workload planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering work packages and release docs for CAMO.
• Oversee compliance with Part 145, MOE, and procedures.
• Supervise technical records, work reports, documentation control.
• Coordinate material requisition with Purchasing and Stores.
• Maintain and update technical publications with OEM revisions.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.

About the Technical Services Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead a busy Technical Services Department within a regulated aviation maintenance environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all technical documentation, work packages, and engineering support activities are delivered on time, fully compliant with EASA Part 145 regulations, the company MOE, and internal procedures.

This is a key leadership role focused on safety, quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced aviation setting.

Technical Services Manager Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Services team, including workload planning and performance management


• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality engineering work packages and release documentation for CAMO customers


• Oversee compliance with Part 145, MOE, and company procedures


• Supervise technical records, work reports, and documentation control


• Ensure accurate material requisition and coordination with Purchasing and Stores


• Maintain and update technical publications following OEM revisions


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost efficiency, and turnaround times


• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated effectively


• Act as escalation point for technical services issues and deputise as required

About You
