Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Portsmouth is seeking a Team Lead - Technical Services to ensure safe, compliant maintenance across Facilities Operations. You’ll lead a cross‑functional team, manage budgets and drive service excellence while coordinating with stakeholders to deliver core business activities.

The role requires strong M&E maintenance expertise, SFG20 standards awareness, and the ability to deliver proactive improvements. SC clearance is a minimum requirement for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams to deliver operational objectives and service excellence.
• Strong fault finding, diagnostic and planned maintenance expertise (including SFG20).
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational strategies across diverse teams.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented with risk management and business continuity focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a proactive, engaged, high-performing team, promoting QinetiQ values and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Team Leads to prioritise workloads, manage site budgets, objectives and service requirements.
• Oversee facilities, maintenance operations, buildings, infrastructure, and asset management with contractor coordination and compliance.
• Ensure maintenance actions, audit findings, risk management activities are completed on time and to standard.
• Manage work delivery to time, cost, quality and safety standards, driving best practice.
• Provide strong leadership through communication, performance management and stakeholder collaboration.
