Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Portsmouth is seeking a Team Lead - Technical Services to lead a proactive maintenance team across the site. You will manage facilities, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive safe, compliant operations for core business activities.

The role requires strong leadership, M&E expertise, and a focus on continuous improvement. 37 hours/week, on-site at Portsmouth, with travel to other sites and SC clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing teams and engaging multiple stakeholders to deliver operational objectives.
• Experienced M&E maintenance professional with fault-finding, diagnostic and planned maintenance expertise.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, security, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a proactive, engaged, high-performing team, promoting QinetiQ values, capability, resilience, and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with Team Leads and stakeholders to prioritise workloads, resolve conflicts, and ensure delivery of site budgets, objectives, and service requirements
• Lead the management of facilities, maintenance operations, buildings, infrastructure, and critical assets, ensuring contractor coordination and regulatory compliance
• Ensure maintenance actions, audit findings, risk management, and responsibilities are completed on time and to standards
• Manage work delivery to agreed time, cost, quality, and safety standards, driving best practice
• Provide strong leadership through communication, performance management, strategic planning, and stakeholder collaboration
