Tela Technology, a leading UK-based communication solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid Glasgow role. You will focus on supporting a key Tela customer while also handling service desk tasks and escalations.
The role requires network design, implementation, and troubleshooting across LAN/WAN, VPNs, and security, with exposure to Microsoft 365 and Hyper-V. Travel to customer sites and close collaboration with sales and technical teams are expected.

The Role
You will focus on supporting a key Tela customer (approx. 80% of time) through their continued growth, acquisition and projects; with the remaining time supporting the service desk and active tickets.
You’ll troubleshoot complex technical issues, attend customer sites, support infrastructure projects and work closely with our sales and technical teams.
Technically, this is a varied role combining networking, infrastructure, customer-facing work, project delivery and 2nd line/escalation support.
Key Responsibilities
About You
We’re looking for an experienced infrastructure Engineer, ideally with MSP or multi-customer experience, who has a particular strength or passion for networking.
You’ll be confident troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues, working independently and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical customer contacts.
Required Skills & Experience:
Relevant certifications are welcome, but practical experience and technical ability are more important.
Location
This is a hybrid role based from our Glasgow office Tuesday–Thursday, with remote working and customer-site visits as required (approx. once a week)
A full UK driving licence is essential, a company van will be provided for site visits.
