Job summary

Sika in Preston is offering an office-based apprenticeship within the Building Envelope Technical Team. You will handle incoming calls and emails, collect data, and allocate tasks to staff while supporting live projects and technical specification work.

This role provides NVQ Level 3 education with strong training support. You will gain practical skills in teamwork, communication, and construction knowledge, with salary and benefits designed for an apprentice.

Job description

Purpose of the Role

This office-based role is all about supporting the high-performing Building Envelope Technical Team. You will manage incoming enquiries to ensure they reach the required member of staff, collecting additional information where possible to ensure resolutions are achieved accurately and as efficiently as possible to maintain the high customer service levels provided by Sika. You will be exposed to live projects and engage in technically driven specification tasks, ensuring the team can meet deadlines and provide an excellent customer experience to both contractors and clients.

You will be given the opportunity to complete a course at Preston college to facilitate your personal development with time allocated to complete coursework and attend monthly classes.
