HCA Healthcare UK’s Information Technology Group (ITG) is a Group IT function, developing and managing all aspects of healthcare IT across our portfolio of hospitals, clinics, outpatient centres, laboratories, and other associated businesses.
IT Technical Service Management is one of the main functions of the Service Operation module of ITIL framework. This function is responsible for managing the capacity, performance, and availability of all the components used in organization’s IT Infrastructure. The ITG Technical Services Delivery team is responsible for installing and maintaining all the end user devices in HCA UK across all the facilities and sites.

What You'll Do
- You will provide 2nd & 3rd level support for our end users and generate incident tickets in the field.
- You will process and coordinate appropriate and timely responses to incident reports, including channelling requests, monitoring resolution activity, and keeping clients appraised of progress towards service restoration.
- Investigate causes of incidents and seek resolution, escalating unresolved incidents.
- Facilitate recovery, following resolution of incidents.
- You will certify and create documentation for these incidents, closing resolved incidents according to agreed procedures.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience in 2nd and 3rd line support, with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience deploying and supporting mobile and device technologies; LAN, WLAN and WiFi technologies; PC, laptops and tablets.
- Hands-on technical experience in first-line vendor support and management, speaking with vendors to troubleshoot the installation and support of technical products
- Hands-on technical experience in deploying and supporting iOS operating systems, as well as Microsoft operating systems and applications; specifically Windows 7 & 10, SQL, MS Server OS, Microsoft Office Suite & O365
