Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing MEP operational best practices and initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations, statutory obligations, and legislative requirements.
- Monitoring planned maintenance and significant building events, such as annual tests, audits, and document reviews.
- Conducting regular inspections to monitor servicing, maintenance, and compliance; reporting to the General Manager.
- Meeting monthly with MEP service partners to review KPIs, SLAs, and projects.
- Acting as the building engineering expert for operational issues and coordinating solutions with relevant teams.
- Leading energy management efforts to optimize building performance and energy usage, including data analysis and reporting.
- Supporting building mobilization and achieving initial accreditations like Nabers.
- Ensuring operational tasks are completed to high standards within set timeframes, including out-of-hours services.
- Fostering a collaborative 'One Team' environment among stakeholders.
Qualifications include:
- Professional registration (IEng or CEng) or working towards it.
- HNC or Degree in Building Service Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical engineering management.
- Membership of IWFM, AssocRICS, or IOSH preferred.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, BEMS, and SMART building services.
- Experience managing change and promoting best practices.
