Job summary

PPG is seeking a Technical Service Postgraduate in Stowmarket to undergo a structured 12-month training program, gaining knowledge of products, services, and support processes. You will learn from senior staff, diagnose issues, and communicate updates to customers.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional teams and potential progression into Technical Service Engineer or Support positions, with office-based work and field/site visits as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering with good academic record.
• 1-3 years of professional work experience in the field is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 12-month training program to learn products and service processes.
• Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues with guidance from senior staff.
• Learn to use diagnostic tools, software and equipment relevant to technical service.
• Communicate with customers to understand problems and provide updates.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and QA to resolve complex issues.
