Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Technical Sales Manager for a specialist manufacturer based near Hayes. The role focuses on handling incoming enquiries, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and preparing estimates and quotations.

You will liaise with clients to understand project requirements, respond to technical queries, and work with internal teams to support project-led sales opportunities. Hybrid working is considered and the salary is up to £70,000.

Qualifications

TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

Location: Hayes

Salary: Up to £70,000

Shift: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a specialist manufacturer supplying technical products into transport, local authority and construction-related sectors.

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for managing incoming sales enquiries, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, producing estimates, cost build-ups and quotations, and following up with customers. You will liaise with clients to understand project requirements, respond to technical queries and work closely with internal teams to support technical, project-led sales opportunities.

This role is predominantly focused on incoming enquiries rather than cold business development, but will require strong commercial awareness, technical understanding and the ability to manage customer relationships professionally.
