Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Technical Sales Manager to drive national PPE and workwear solutions across the UK. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts with a strong emphasis on above-the-neck PPE products.

You will combine commercial sales skills with technical PPE knowledge, advising customers on suitable solutions, and travelling across a national territory to build long-term relationships with decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales role within PPE, safety equipment or protective workwear.
• Experience selling above-the-neck PPE products such as head, eye, face, hearing or respiratory protection.
• Strong understanding of technical PPE products and their applications.

• Promoting specialist above-the-neck PPE products and protection solutions.
• Identifying potential customers and building relationships with key decision-makers.

• Conducting customer visits, product demonstrations and presentations.
• Working closely with customers to understand their operational requirements, industry standards and PPE needs.
• Preparing quotations, negotiating commercial agreements and closing sales.

• Keeping up to date with industry developments, customer requirements and product innovations.

Salary: Up to £55,000 basic + £10,000 commission

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager to join a growing business specialising in PPE and workwear solutions. This is a national sales role focused on developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships, with a particular emphasis on technical PPE solutions and above-the-neck protection.

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a background in PPE who understands the technical requirements of protective equipment and can confidently advise customers on suitable solutions for their workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong commercial sales skills with technical product knowledge and enjoys building long-term relationships with customers across a national territory.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

• Proven experience in a sales role within the PPE, safety equipment or protective workwear sector.
• Specific experience selling above-the-neck PPE solutions, such as head, eye, face, hearing or respiratory protection.
• A strong understanding of technical PPE products and their applications.
• Experience developing new business and managing customer relationships.
• The ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
• The flexibility to travel nationally for customer visits and business development.

The Package

• Basic salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience.
• £10,000 commission opportunity, dependent on achieving agreed sales targets.
