Job summary

S Jones Containers Ltd. is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Aldridge to manage container conversion projects from concept to completion. You’ll liaise with clients to capture requirements, oversee design, production, and delivery, and ensure technical excellence through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing technical projects within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
• Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management abilities, capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A background in building services, architectural practices, or M&E specialisms is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage Customer Projects: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their technical requirements are fully understood and delivered.
• Oversee the Full Project Lifecycle: Coordinate and monitor projects from initial inquiry through design, production, and delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to create and implement solutions that meet technical specifications.
• Ensure Quality and Compliance: Oversee technical aspects, ensuring all projects meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide Expert Guidance: Advise clients on the best engineering solutions based on their requirements and industry standards.
• Represent the Company at Industry Events: Build your industry knowledge and network by attending meetings, events, and exhibitions, helping to promote our conversions division and showcase our capabilities.
