Omega is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing engineering components supplier to recruit a Hydraulic Technical Sales Representative for their Ipswich-based operation. This role is ideal for a driven, technically-minded sales professional with experience in hydraulic products or engineering components, seeking to join a dynamic team and support the company's growth across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities - Technical Sales Engineer

• Develop strong customer relationships by providing expert technical advice and tailored product solutions.
• Manage customer enquiries from both office and field settings, ensuring high-quality support and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners across Europe and Asia to resolve quality issues and customer applications.
• Deliver accurate quotations and product recommendations based on technical understanding.
• Maintain detailed customer information within the CRM system.
• Contribute to developing bespoke solutions and offer after-sales support as needed.
• Assist Directors and senior management with ad hoc tasks and contribute to overall business strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements - Technical Sales Engineer

• Experience in hydraulic sales or a technical sales role within engineering sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with confidence in building customer relationships.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Sales-driven with high motivation and enthusiasm.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook).
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business is advantageous but not essential.
