We are immediately seeking a high calibre, pro-active, technically-able Sales Engineer to help us maintain our existing customer base and explore new ways to grow the business.

Candidate Profile

The Person:

  • An ideal role for a talented engineer looking to further their career in a varied and challenging sales position.
  • Assured communicator, enthusiastic, confident, and conscientious.
  • Self-motivated, methodical, and structured in approach to work.
  • A pro-active team player, who can also work on own initiative.

Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge or experience from within either, Construction, Fit-Out, or Material storage industry essential.
  • Knowledge or experience of standard Microsoft software, essential.
  • Sales & Marketing experience in Industrial Mesh Partitioning and/or Storage Equipment markets, preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic CAD software, preferred.
Job Description

This is a full-time position, responsible for all activity within the Mesh Products Department. As a small business, flexibility to undertake other duties as required is necessary.

Specific Duties
  • Proactively explore new business opportunities.
  • Manage all relevant Mesh-related enquiries.
  • Create best solutions to qualify and close orders.
  • Liaise with and manage all external Fitting Teams.
  • Maintain & expand our existing Customer base.
  • Assist Management with the process of continual improvement.
Salary

Basic £35,000 – £40,000 dependent on ability/experience. Plus, OTE profit-based commission. Laptop & Mobile phone provided.

Hours of Work

This is a predominantly Crawley office-based position, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, with Home Office / Hybrid options possible. Delivery of business goals is more important than location. Some client site visits will be required.

Holiday Entitlement

23 days per annum.
