Job summary

JG Technical, alongside a specialist engineering partner, is hiring a Technical Sales & Design Engineer to drive design capability and customer delivery. You'll design bespoke HVAC and ventilation systems, visit customers to capture requirements, and manage projects from concept through installation.

This role blends design, customer liaison, supplier coordination and hands‑on site work. You’ll support quality processes and provide technical input to CAD and RAMS, while building lasting

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of HVAC/LEV and related engineered systems.
• Experience designing ventilation or extraction systems.
• Excellent communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Project coordination from concept to installation, with documentation.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel and internal databases.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming enquiries and convert them into engineered solutions
• Visit new and existing customers to assess requirements and build relationships
• Design HVAC, LEV, dust/extraction or ventilation systems to client specifications
• Provide technical support to sales engineers and office staff
• Plan, organise and supervise suppliers and installers, including site visits
• Arrange delivery of parts and oversee installation activities
• Manage project documentation and database updates
• Provide technical information to CAD Engineers and RAMS preparation
• Support ISO9001:2015 quality processes and report improvements
• Promote customer focus and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
