Job summary

Escco seeks a proactive Sales Associate to drive growth by building strong customer relationships, handling enquiries and quotations, and promoting ESCCO's welding, engineering, automation, and industrial products.

You will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers select the best solutions for their operations while achieving individual and team sales targets. Knowledge of engineering supply sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales enquiries via telephone, email, website, and trade account customers.
• Generate and follow up quotations to maximise conversion rates.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across ESCCO's product portfolio.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen relationships and increase account value.
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Support sales campaigns, promotions, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Help achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and technical guidance.
• Build long-term relationships with customers across engineering and manufacturing industries.
• Resolve customer queries, order issues, and delivery concerns efficiently.
• Ensure customers receive accurate product recommendations and pricing information.
• Develop knowledge of ESCCO's welding equipment, consumables, automation solutions, fume extraction systems, and associated products.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal technical teams to ensure customers receive the best solution.
• Support product demonstrations, customer visits, exhibitions, and open-day events when required.
• Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM and ERP systems.
• Process quotations, sales orders, purchase requests, and customer documentation.
• Monitor sales opportunities and maintain an effective pipeline.
• Produce reports and updates for management as required.
