Job summary

Magply is a field-based, customer-facing Technical Sales Manager role covering the South of England and London. You will promote Magply board solutions to contractors, roofing installers, designers and specifiers, and convert specifications into orders via our distributors.

Reporting to the Roofing Sales Manager, you’ll combine practical roofing knowledge with sales skills, build strong relationships, and manage your own territory and pipeline with support from our Essex office visits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roofing, ideally flat roofing or insulation.
• Background in field sales or similar customer-facing role.
• Comfortable discussing roofing build-ups and regulations with architects, designers and contractors.
• Able to manage own territory and pipeline.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Promote Magply and related roofing solutions to contractors and installers.
• Build relationships with architects, designers and specifiers to secure project specifications.
• Deliver product training and CPD-style sessions.
• Tracking live and upcoming projects from design to installation.
• Providing on-site and remote technical support, and feeding back market and technical insights.
• Feeding orders through our distribution network and supporting key distributors and merchants.
